For one of my final projects as a student at Kendall I decided to do my own interpretation of the four horsemen. I wanted them to be shown as powerful and terrifying women rather than their usual portrayal as males. Each one was given a different cardinal direct and an element to weild to accomplish her goal.
In 2013, I took on a very large commission for the First United Methodist Church of Lowell, MI. They were giving their sunday school wing a complete makeover and asked me to give the entire wing a Noah's Ark Theme with murals covering virtually every wall. It was an exciting project Im happy I got to be a part of. The upper floor was made to look like the upper deck of a ship, and the downstairs given an underwater theme.
I had an opportunity to do another mural project so I took it.
